1 About the Service
TechEdge is NorthStar’s streamlined investing solution, built for individuals who want a professionally managed portfolio with less hassle. Through TechEdge, you’ll access carefully selected investment strategies designed to fit your goals and risk preferences.
Your account will be held with Charles Schwab & Co., Inc. (“Custodian”). The cash portion of your portfolio will be held at Charles Schwab Bank, an affiliate of the Custodian. NorthStar uses advanced technology through Schwab Performance Technologies to automatically monitor and rebalance your portfolio when needed — keeping your investments aligned with your strategy.
2 What You Will Do
Review our Privacy Policy and Form ADV 2A at the bottom of the page before proceeding.

Complete the DocuSign form to let us know what type of account you’d like to open and whether it’ll be a single or joint account. Based on your answers, DocuSign will automatically send you to fill out the correct paperwork.

After you’ve completed the documents, you will complete an advisory contract with Northstar Wealth Management.
Then, you will fund your account at Charles Schwab and select your investment portfolio.

From there, our team will manage your portfolio for you — keeping it optimized and adjusted according to market conditions and your selected strategy.

3 Investment Advisor's Role and Schwab's Role
NorthStar will guide you through this service, including helping you select the right investment strategy and managing your portfolio on a discretionary basis. While your account is held at Charles Schwab & Co., Inc., and we use Schwab’s technology platform, NorthStar is independent and not affiliated with or endorsed by Schwab.
Your investments will be professionally managed by our firm — Schwab simply acts as your account custodian and technology partner.
